Neck pain is a common condition that most people suffer from at some point in their life. Generally, the episodes of neck pain are due to muscle strain or soft tissue sprain (ligaments, tendons). When the pain is present for up to 3 months, it is called acute. However, when it persists longer, the condition is then chronic.
Neck pain symptoms can range from mild to excruciating. The pain can be located in one area of your neck and often goes away after a few days, or it may be constant and spread down towards your shoulder and/or arm and last from a few days to weeks.
We use gentle hands-on manipulation techniques for the treatment of musculoskeletal problems that help decrease muscle tension and improve your range of motion to increase circulation to the tissues, which ultimately leads to a better recovery.
We also provide advise on appropriate exercises and posture that is tailored to your needs to assist you towards a better and/or faster recovery, so you can feel confident to gradually return to your normal activities.
